In the spring of 2013, the Lexington community was shaken by the untimely death of 18-year-old Patrick Nicholas Puckett, a male student-athlete known for his leadership and compassion. On the evening of May 22, 2013, Puckett was fatally shot at an apartment complex on Ryan Circle.
