On a July evening in 2014, a senseless act of violence cut short the life of Jamie Plymel, a 40-year-old male from Spring Hill, Tennessee. The fatal encounter unfolded at a welcome center situated on the border between Kentucky and Tennessee. Plymel had pulled into the rest area and was on the phone with his wife when the tragedy occurred.
