In the late summer evening of August 5, 2019, the community of Franklin, Kentucky, was shaken by an act of violence that claimed the life of 42-year-old Tifton C. Gamble. A native of Warren County, Gamble was a man known to be cool and laid-back, though he could quickly become protective when he felt threatened. That Monday evening, he was fatally shot, a violent end to a life that had touched many in the Franklin and Simpson County area.
