In the late evening of a Tuesday in January 2015, a fatal altercation unfolded at a residence on Sugar Hollow Road in Irvine, Kentucky, ending the life of 47-year-old Millard E. Dixon. A man who had spent his entire life in Estill County, Dixon was a logger by trade.
