On a Wednesday morning in Louisville, Kentucky, Mukhtar Ahmad, a 41-year-old Pakistani-American man, was driving on Interstate 71 after dropping his 13-year-old daughter off at school. His journey was tragically cut short in what police have described as a random act of road rage. Another driver, Christopher McCullum, opened fire on Ahmad's black SUV, causing it to crash into a guardrail. Ahmad was struck by a single gunshot to the torso and was pronounced dead at the scene on February 25, 2015.
