In the early morning hours of June 15, 2015, the life of 21-year-old Kenneth Wayne Liggons Jr. was tragically cut short in Louisville, Kentucky. A male victim of gun violence, he was discovered on the pavement at the intersection of 20th and Pirtle Streets in the Portland neighborhood. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office later confirmed that Liggons had died from a single gunshot wound to the chest.
