In the summer of 2014, a violent encounter in a Louisville, Kentucky home claimed the life of 29-year-old Keevin Ramone Hayden. On the morning of Tuesday, July 8, 2014, police were called to a residence on Red Oak Lane in the Newburg neighborhood, where they discovered the bodies of Hayden and another man, 20-year-old John Robertson. Both men had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
Investigators determined that the incident began as a home invasion.
Robertson reportedly forced his way into the house where Hayden was present. A struggle broke out between the two men, during which shots were fired.
