On a tragic Friday in June of 2016, the life of 32-year-old Jennifer Lynn Downey of Frankfort, Kentucky, was cut short in a violent act that also claimed the life of the elderly woman for whom she was a caregiver. Jennifer, a mother to five children, was found with gunshot wounds on June 17, 2016, at the Pea Ridge Road home of 88-year-old Carolyn Barker, who was also found deceased at the scene from gunshot wounds.
