Jaleesa Robinson, a 24-year-old woman from Frankfort, Kentucky, tragically died on December 13, 2016, after being shot. On the evening of December 13, Robinson called 911 while driving, reporting that she had been shot. She managed to pull into the parking lot of the Circle K on Schenkel Lane, where an ambulance met her. Despite being airlifted to UK Hospital, she succumbed to her injuries.
