In the chill of a Louisville, Kentucky evening, just eight days before Christmas in 2016, the life of 51-year-old George Robert Brown was brought to a violent and tragic end. On December 17th, Brown was in the front yard of his home on Olive Street when he was fatally shot multiple times. The horror of the event was compounded by the fact that his 5-year-old son was present and witnessed the killing of his father.
