In the summer of 2014, a dispute over a modest sum of money escalated into a fatal encounter in Louisville, Kentucky. James Scott Tolle, a 49-year-old male, was shot and killed on July 14, 2014. The incident occurred at the Manor Brook Apartment complex on Fegenbush Lane, where Tolle was the landlord. The man responsible for his death was his tenant, 54-year-old Anthony Jecker.
