In the autumn of 2017, a tragic event unfolded in the small city of Winchester, Kentucky, forever altering the lives of two families and shaking the community to its core. On the evening of November 7th, 16-year-old Adrianna Castro, a female student at George Rogers Clark High School, was visiting friends at the Washington Street Apartments with her close friend, Kayla Holland, who was also 16.
