In the late hours of a Monday evening in Northeast Washington, D.C., a young man's life was tragically cut short. On November 25, 2019, at approximately 11:09 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the 2500 block of Rhode Island Avenue, Northeast. Upon arrival, officers discovered 22-year-old Dante Hicks suffering from a gunshot wound.
