Kevin Olmeda-Ortiz, a 15-year-old from Lexington, Kentucky, tragically lost his life on February 6, 2018. Kevin was a student at Lafayette High School and was well-loved by his family and friends. His untimely death was a result of a gunshot wound, which occurred outside a home on Garden Springs Drive in Lexington. The incident shocked the local community and led to an outpouring of grief and support for his family.
