In the spring of 2018, a young man from Louisville, Kentucky, found his life taking a tragic and public turn. Blake Thomas Alvey, a 23-year-old White/Caucasian male, appeared on 'The Jerry Springer Show' in an episode that aired in May of that year. During the taping, he was confronted with the painful revelation that his fiancée had been unfaithful with a friend and had sold the engagement ring he had given her.
