In the quiet community of Corbin, Kentucky, the life of 19-year-old James Benjamin Edward “Ben” King was cut short on Saturday, August 11, 2018. The young man was pronounced dead at approximately 1:30 a.m. from a firearm-related injury sustained at an acquaintance's home on Peggy Lane. The male victim's passing left a community grappling with questions and sorrow.
