On a Saturday afternoon in Russell Springs, Kentucky, 35-year-old Brandy Renee Johnson was on her lunch break from her job as a waitress at Coe's Steakhouse. It was October 27, 2018, when she went out to her vehicle in the restaurant's parking lot. In an abrupt act of violence, a man approached her and fired a gun multiple times, striking her at point-blank range. Johnson was rushed to the Russell County Hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.
