Laverne Geneva Wilson, a 51-year-old resident of Covington, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023, due to a fatal shooting. The incident occurred on Wheeler Street near 13th Street in Covington, where officers were called to the scene and found Wilson shot. She was subsequently taken to UC Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.
