On a September morning in 2019, the community of Whitesburg, Kentucky, was rocked by a tragedy that unfolded within a family home on Cane Hollow Road. Timothy Shawn Profitt, a 41-year-old male, was found unresponsive in the basement of his residence. Emergency services were called to the scene, but it was too late. Timothy was deceased, having suffered a single gunshot wound.
