In a tragic turn of events on Saturday, May 6, 2023, 18-year-old Nolan Ray Naegele, a White male from Hazard, Kentucky, was fatally shot in Whitesburg, Kentucky. The incident occurred in a vehicle on KY 15 Business, while Naegele was driving and being pursued by police.
