On a Friday evening in southwest Louisville, a dispute tragically escalated, ending the life of 41-year-old Antwion O'Neal Milner. The male victim was fatally shot on September 20, 2019. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the 5500 block of Landcross Drive in the Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood.
According to official reports, an altercation took place at a residence which led to the fatal shooting on the front porch.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office later confirmed that Milner's death was a result of a gunshot wound. First responders arrived at the scene, but Milner was pronounced dead before he could be transported to a hospital.
Following an investigation into the events of that night, police arrested Tyler Lowery, who was 18 years old at the time. Lowery was charged with murder in connection with Milner's death. He was subsequently booked at Louisville Metro Corrections and held on a $250,000 bond. Court proceedings began the following week, where he entered a plea of not guilty.
