In the spring of 2020, the life of 60-year-old Rebekah 'Becky' Wortman was tragically cut short in what police have described as a murder-suicide. On Friday, April 10, 2020, Wortman was found deceased in her south Louisville, Kentucky, home. She died from a gunshot wound inflicted by her husband, John Wortman, who then took his own life.
