In the early morning hours of May 28, 2020, Bruce Edward Trice, a 58-year-old male, was found outside on Augusta Drive in Lexington, Kentucky, with a gunshot wound. Police had responded to a shots-fired call at approximately 1:40 a.m. Trice was transported to the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at around 3 a.m. His death was the second homicide to occur on the same block within a 19-hour period, prompting an investigation into ...
