In the early morning hours of August 14, 2020, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, a violent encounter cut short the life of 39-year-old Tiffany Hinton Gray. The incident, which unfolded around 2:00 a.m. on East 1st Street, also resulted in serious injuries to a 17-year-old female, Kanina Willingham. When police arrived at the scene following reports of shots fired, they discovered Gray unresponsive in the roadway with at least one gunshot wound.
