In the early morning hours of a Thursday in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, a tragic event unfolded that would cut short the life of 19-year-old Kelsey Moore. On August 24, 2023, Moore was inside a car at the intersection of Country Club Lane and East 21st Street when she was shot. The incident was reported to the Hopkinsville Police Department just before 4 a.m.
