In the early hours of October 7, 2020, the life of Robert A. Jones, a 20-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short. He was found suffering from gunshot wounds at an apartment complex in Shively, a suburban neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Another report from the Jefferson County Coroner's office stated that Robert A. Jones was 29 years old and died from a gunshot wound at 4:55 p.m. on the same day in the 2200 block of Appleton Lane.
