In the early evening of May 25, 2021, the life of 22-year-old Charlize 'Charli' Logan, a Black female from Louisville, Kentucky, was tragically cut short. Gunshots shattered the peace in the Chickasaw neighborhood, and when Louisville Metro Police Department officers responded to a call around 6 p.m. in the 1200 block of South 41st Street, they found Charlize suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
