In the early evening hours of a Friday in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of 15-year-old Demetri Rhodes was tragically cut short. On June 4, 2021, in the Shawnee neighborhood, a shooting incident unfolded that would leave a family and community mourning the loss of the young male. Louisville Metro Police Department officers responded to a call around 5:30 p.m. and discovered Demetri deceased inside a residence in the 4100 block of West Broadway.
