In the early morning hours of July 5, 2021, a confrontation on a quiet street in Louisville's Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood turned deadly. Eric Greer, a 36-year-old male, had reportedly stepped outside to confront an individual who was damaging his car on Jonquil Drive, near Jessamine Lane. The encounter escalated, and gunfire erupted around 3:30 a.m.
