In the early morning hours of November 25, 2015, the day before Thanksgiving, the body of 39-year-old Paysor Casey, a Black male from Clarksville, Indiana, was discovered behind a vacant apartment building in the Beechmont neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. Authorities responded to the 300 block of West Florence Avenue around 6 a.m. and pronounced him dead at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.
