In the Highlands area of Louisville, Kentucky, a vibrant community was shaken on the evening of January 15, 2023. Marcus Scott Cambron, a 52-year-old White / Caucasian male, was fatally shot on Baxter Avenue, a street known for its bustling shops and restaurants. The incident occurred around 5:00 PM in the 900 block of the avenue, near the intersection with Highland Avenue and Bardstown Road, sending a wave of concern through the neighborhood.
