In the summer of 2021, a quiet apartment complex in the Bashford Manor neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, became the scene of a tragic discovery. On the evening of July 13th, police responded to a 911 call and entered an apartment in the 700 block of Trafalgar Square. Inside, they found the bodies of 34-year-old Dunier Rivera Rodriguez, a Hispanic male, and a 38-year-old woman, Karen Garcia Gonzalez De Prada. Both had been shot to death.
