In the early hours of a Saturday morning in Louisville, Kentucky, tragedy struck, leaving a family to grapple with a sudden and violent loss. On April 8, 2012, police received a call around 4:30 a.m. and responded to the Yorktown Apartments. Inside one of the units located at 7210 Yorktown Road, they discovered the body of 27-year-old Mark L. Pace. It was determined that he had been fatally shot, though the apartment where he was found was not his own.
