On a summer evening in Bowling Green, Kentucky, a verbal argument between two men escalated into a fatal encounter that left one of them dead. Robert Glenn Cherry, a 43-year-old man, was shot and killed on July 22, 2021, on Collegeview Drive. The events leading up to the shooting began with a dispute between Cherry and another man, Michael Burgett.
