Shantez Hayes, a 30-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life in a shooting on the evening of October 26, 2021, in Louisville, Kentucky. The incident unfolded around 7:45 p.m. near the intersection of South Brook Street and East St. Catherine Street, in the vicinity of an I-65 South exit ramp.
