In the late morning of August 21, 2022, the vibrant life of William Virgil Smith III, a 36-year-old man, was tragically cut short in the Chickasaw neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. Around 10:30 a.m., officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 3700 block of West Broadway.
