In the late summer of 2022, the life of 24-year-old Kelvin Sam, Jr. was tragically cut short in Louisville, Kentucky. On the evening of Tuesday, August 30, 2022, Sam was discovered inside a vehicle in the Portland neighborhood, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds. The vehicle was located near Boone Square Park, a detail that painted a grim picture of the final moments of the young man's life.
