Nicole Morton

In the early morning hours of October 25, 2022, the life of 33-year-old Nicole Morton, a female U.S. Army veteran, was cut short in a Lexington, Kentucky, apartment. Responding to reports of gunshots at approximately 4 a.m. on Maple Avenue, Lexington police discovered Morton inside a residence with a fatal gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lexington Fire Department.
