In the early morning hours of December 10, 2022, the life of 19-year-old Elaina Quinn Mammen was tragically cut short in Lexington, Kentucky. Just before 6 a.m., Lexington Police were dispatched to the 3400 block of Colonnade Drive after reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered Mammen inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident marked the 43rd homicide in Lexington for the year 2022
