On a summer night in 2013, the life of 20-year-old Ethan M. Honer, a White male from Dent, Minnesota, was tragically cut short. The events of July 31st unfolded at a residence east of New York Mills, in what authorities would later describe as a murder-suicide fueled by jealousy. Honer had accompanied a woman to the home of her ex-boyfriend, 23-year-old Jacob Geiser. The purpose of their visit was to retrieve the woman's dog.
