Cabrie Devon Young, aged 28, was tragically shot and killed on the night of July 4, 2014, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The incident occurred just before midnight in the 3400 block of Dupont Avenue North, a short distance from Young's residence. According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office, Young died from a gunshot wound to the chest. Two other men were also shot during the incident but survived their injuries.
