On May 20, 2013, Torri J. Stewart, a 19-year-old male, was fatally shot while sitting in a vehicle in the Lake Meadows neighborhood on Chicago's South Side. The shooting took place at approximately 8:20 p.m. on the 3100 block of South Rhodes Avenue. Stewart sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
