Wade Gordon McIntosh, aged 47, was tragically killed on April 7, 2017, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The incident occurred early in the morning outside an apartment building near Lake Phalen. Wade, along with his daughters, Olivia Felis McIntosh, 17, and Maria Alana McIntosh, 19, were fatally shot. Another individual, who was also shot, remained in critical condition at Regions Hospital.
The suspect, Jeffrey Jemaile Taylor, aged 20, was found deceased in a wooded area near the apartment
building. Taylor had shared an 18-month-old child with Maria McIntosh. The child was reported missing but was later found safe with Taylor's half-brother, Jeffrey Arkis Taylor, aged 19, in a nearby shed. Jeffrey Arkis Taylor was subsequently arrested and the case against him was presented to the Ramsey County Attorney's Office for possible charges.
The tragic event left the community in shock, with many expressing their grief and disbelief. Wade McIntosh was remembered as a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and backyard barbecues. His daughters, Maria and Olivia, were described as the apples of his eye, and their loss was deeply felt by family and friends.
