Jessyka Brown, aged 25, was tragically shot and killed on September 5, 2003, in San Diego, California. The incident occurred shortly after midnight while Jessyka and her boyfriend were sitting on the steps of the Women's Civic Center at 2972 Clay Avenue. The center was closed at the time. According to reports, a confrontation took place when one or more suspects approached the couple and began shooting.
