On May 16, 1989, 64-year-old Sung Yee Barr was brutally attacked in her Clairemont home in San Diego, California. The attack occurred during the early morning hours, and her 27-year-old son was also assaulted but survived his injuries. Tragically, Sung Yee Barr succumbed to multiple blunt force trauma injuries sustained during the incident.
