Angela Angenette McFadyen, aged 35, was found dead on March 22, 1995, in a vacant residence behind 2137 Ocean View Boulevard in the Logan Heights area of San Diego, California. Officers were called to the location in response to a death report and discovered Angela's body in the bathroom of the empty residence. The investigation revealed that Angela had been strangled, and her death was ruled a homicide.
