Angela Angenette McFadyen, aged 35, was found dead on March 22, 1995, in a vacant residence behind 2137 Ocean View Boulevard in the Logan Heights area of San Diego, California. Officers were called to the location in response to a death report and discovered Angela's body in the bathroom of the empty residence. The investigation revealed that Angela had been strangled, and her death was ruled a homicide. The property where she was found had been burglarized, and it was during the homeowner's inspection of the area that Angela's body was discovered.
Angela was residing at Casa de Franklin, a facility for homeless individuals, at the time of her death. Investigators noted that she might have been involved in prostitution activities, which may have contributed to the circumstances surrounding her death. A few days before the homicide, a transient had approached the resident of the Ocean View address for food. When the transient was turned away, he allegedly made threats, suggesting something would happen to the resident or his property, but the transient was never identified.
Despite efforts by the San Diego Police Department to gather information, Angela McFadyen's case remains unsolved.
