In the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 18, 2019, Dajuon Johnson, a 22-year-old Black / African American male from Saint Paul, Minnesota, was fatally wounded in a shooting. The incident occurred at approximately 4:15 a.m. outside a BP gas station located on the 1300 block of University Avenue. When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Johnson with a life-threatening gunshot wound.
