On the last day of 2019, Monique Latrice Leanna Baugh, a 28-year-old Black/African American female and a real estate agent in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was lured to a fabricated house showing in the suburb of Maple Grove. This set in motion a tragic sequence of events that would end her life. The call for the showing was a ruse, orchestrated as part of a premeditated and violent plan.
