On April 11, 2015, 21-year-old Ayan Abdi Abdulahi was found dead in Minneapolis, MN. The incident occurred in the home of her boyfriend, Ahmed Abdirahim Abdi, located on Portland Ave. S. Abdulahi was discovered in Abdi's bedroom with a gunshot wound to her head and was pronounced dead at the scene. The relationship between Abdulahi and Abdi was described as a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, and the incident was reportedly related to a domestic dispute.
