On July 15, 2020, Bajuan Davon Adams, a 25-year-old resident of Saint Paul, Minnesota, was fatally shot in the Summit-University neighborhood. The incident occurred around 5:45 p.m. near the intersection of Western Avenue North and Concordia Avenue West. This tragic event marked the 18th homicide in Saint Paul for the year 2020.
Following the shooting, a second victim, believed to be connected to the incident, arrived at a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries later that
evening. The Saint Paul Police Department quickly launched an investigation into the shooting. By the next morning, they had made two arrests. The suspects were identified as a 21-year-old individual, who was arrested for murder, and a 26-year-old individual, who was arrested for aggravated assault.
